For Teachers Who Work to Scale

The Teaching Collective is designed for experienced yoga teachers who want to earn more without teaching more classes—by shifting the model, not the workload.

Two Ways to Teach the Same Five Classes

Traditional Studio Model

  • Paid a flat rate per class

  • Typical pay: $30–$40

  • Attendance does not affect income

  • Income capped by schedule

Teaching Collective Model

  • Paid per enrolled student

  • Typical class price: $20–$30

  • Income scales with attendance

  • Direct relationship with students

Monthly Earnings: Studio vs. Collective

Scenario: 5 classes per week, 8 students per class & 20 classes per month

Traditional Studio

[Assume Class Rate $35]

Monthly income:

20 classes x $35 class rate = $700

Attendance does not change this.

Teaching Collective

[Assume $20 Class Rate]

Gross revenue:

20 classes × 8 students × $20 = $3,200

Teacher share (80%): $2,560

Less platform costs:

  • Monthly membership fee, revenue share and credit card processing fees.

Estimated monthly take-home: $2,250–$2,380

What You Can Build

If you have a vision for an offering, the Collective gives you the infrastructure and visibility to bring it to life.

  • Weekly or seasonal signature classes

  • Six-week or eight-week class series

  • Specialty workshops and masterclasses

  • Online or hybrid offerings

  • Pop-ups around Atlanta under the UY umbrella

  • Funnels that lead to privates, retreats, or future programs.

This platform becomes your business accelerator.

Work With Us

Standards Matter Here

Membership in the Teaching Collective comes with shared standards.

Teachers are expected to:

  • Teach responsibly and professionally

  • Communicate clearly with students

  • Honor scheduling and commitments

  • Uphold the values of Unabashed Yoga

  • Participate as collaborators, not consumers

A Note From the Founder

The Teaching Collective exists because the studio model caps teachers’ income while demanding their best work.

I wanted to change the system—not ask teachers to work harder inside it.
